One must embrace the chaos within
to give birth to a dancing star.

My Work

My Clients are Smart, Unique, Leaders

The people I accept as clients are smart, unique, and leaders – already, or high-potentials who are in training. They are talented individuals who are committed to having an impact and making a difference in the world and in their organizations. They have caught a glimpse of something more they can be or do, but are not clear on how to get there. That is where I come in.  Together we identify their goals, put together a plan for how to achieve them, agree the action steps that will get them where they are trying to go, and work through the “blind spots” (which we all have) that are getting in their way.

I work best with innovative, international business people who are ready to actualize their greater potential. I consider it a privilege to be able to help these leaders learn more about the whole human being they are capable of being, far beyond the suit they wear in the office.

My role is not to judge, but simply to listen. I follow my own instincts (which are pretty good, as my customer testimonials show), and those of my clients. I use those instincts to help my clients identify goals, visions, and action steps related to their business, personal, or public life – or any combination thereof – and to broaden their leadership paradigms.

Leadership is Innate

To me, leadership is something that comes from within. Although frequently seen out in front – a call to action – leadership as often manifests quietly, behind the scenes and unremarked.

However it manifests, true leadership results in growth, in meaningful change in both self and others, and in impact. To empower leaders – expanding and actualizing their innate potential – is the essence of my work.

Why Dancing Star?

I see the dancing star as a metaphor for a client’s process. To explain this, there is a long story (see the Pre-Cloud Star white paper) and a short story. The short story derives from the science of astronomy:

A star is born from a swirling mass of potential – a pre-star cloud of elemental gasses, winds and momentum – both energy and substance. When conditions are right, a pre-star cloud realizes its potential and forms its own unique star. This new star shines with self-generated internal energy, producing its own heat and light while performing its stately dance across the heavens, lighting up the darkness with the warmth and power of its being.

Here’s the thing:

  • Some leaders are already stars.
  • Some will spontaneously become stars.
  • And many have all the requisite elements, but still need assistance – often simply a catalyst – to coalesce.

My clients are looking for something – a nudge, a shift in perspective, someone to hold a mirror for them – to move from swirling mass of cloud to coalesced, shining star. I help bring forth the star from within these leaders so they can engage in the dance of leadership – with intention and joy.

Why?

Simple. Because the world we live in today needs them.
